Dr Anita Dighe, was a Founder Board Member of PRIA from 1982 to 1988. During her visit to PRIA she shared her experiences of using adult education and lifelong learning perspectives in participatory evaluation.

Participatory evaluation is today a common approach, not only in PRIA’s work but in the development sector at large.

Dr Dighe and Rajesh Tandon were early practitioners of participatory evaluation. In 1982-83, the participatory evaluation of the Abner Inter School and NonFormal Education Project in Delhi, was a first.
