Farm2U is one of the consortium partners along with Women on wings and PRIA. Farm2U works with women farmers with focus to their entrepreneurial development. As the project is a collaborative effort by all the 3 consortium partners where they leverage their expertise to other by making knowledge available and accessible to all.

PRIA along with its implementing partner Martha Farrell Foundation conducted a workshop on basics of financial literacy and financial well-being with community leaders/mobilisers of Farm2U. These community leaders interact with women farmers of Pulwama, Kashmir and imparts the knowledge and learning to them through training.

The workshop with Farm2U on Financial literacy focused on the aspect of Savings, Budget, freedom of choices and decision, financial well-being. The community leaders were also introduced to the participatory methodology of engaging people.

Community leaders of Farm2u shared that there is need of financial literacy among women farmers of Pulwama so that they can take their own decision for expenditure or investment without being dependent on others. Simple knowledge of financial literacy is crucial for entrepreneurship and empowerment.
