During the second wave of the pandemic in 2021, the laborers of the country were again hard hit with issues of job loss, livelihood loss, and food insecurity. This comparative analysis between the migrant laborers of urban and rural areas aims to assess the real-time difficulties and challenges the laborers in Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, and Bihar have faced during the second wave of the pandemic through participatory research. Based on the research outcomes, a social action project was designed by Thriti.
