There is very little taught in the medical curriculum on occupational and environmental health. Based on its field studies and interactions with various medical associations, this capacity building input helped build awareness regarding the issue amongst fresh medical graduates.

Intensive input also provided regarding criteria for diagnosis and disability assessment arising out of occupational diseases.
