To understand the linkages, conflicts and dynamics between the traditional, developmental and statutory institutions to explore participation of people in their local forest management. Conducted in 6 villages in Nainital Division, Uttaranchal namely; Deeni, Saldi, Jungaliya Gaon, Soan Gaon, Bannan, Parwada.
