Evaluation of Bhagvatulla Charitable Trust, Vishakhapatnam

This project evaluated the women’s programmes of Bhagvatulla Charitable Trust (BCT) and to draw out issues for consideration in further planning of the women’s programme of BCT.

Objectives:

• To evaluate the women’s programs of BCT.
• To draw out issues for consideration in further planning of the women’s program of BCT.

• Evaluation was done for all women’s programs of BCT.
• Mahila Mandals (Women’s groups) were evaluated, classified and selected to be a part of the study & field visits.
• Institute for Development & Planning Studies, Vishakhapatnam collected primary & secondary data about the villages.

• Mahila Mandals and their leadership.
• Thrift Advisory Groups vis-à-vis the Mahila Mandals and their operations.
• BCTs other programs to the extent of their bearing on the women’s programs and their success.
• BCT’s current and emerging role.
