After successfully reaching out to more than 36 colleges and 16 universities across 30 cities of India, the Youth-n-Democracy campaign debuts in Chandigarh and Shimla.

The Youth-n-Democracy juggernaut roles into Chandigarh on 17 April 2018, heading to Panjab University. Established in 1882, Panjab University ranks 1st among universities in India and 38th in Asia, by the Times Higher Education Asian University rankings 2015. In the over-500 acre campus, the YnD team will interact with nearly 100 students of the Institute of Social Science Education and Research & Centre for Social Work at the University.

On 19 April 2018, the YnD campaign arrives at Summer Hill, Shimla, home to Himachal Pradesh University. In company of lush rhododendrons, silver oak, pine and deodar trees, around 70 students of The Institute of Integrated Himalayan Studies (UGC Centre of Excellence) will debate and discuss the meaning of Democracy In Everyday Life (#DIEL).

Tune in to the YnD Facebook group to know more about what the students of Punjab and Himachal Pradesh think of living democracy everyday.
