Tribute to Martha Farrell at Synergos Board Meeting

The governing board meeting of Synergos began with founder and chairperson Peggy Dulany’s emotional tribute to Martha. She described her three decades of friendship and comradeship with Martha as true bonding. "Martha's passion for gender equality initially scared me as she came across in a strong and clear manner. But as we got to know each other, I appreciated Martha’s deep and lasting commitment to empowering women leaders in panchayats and beyond. Martha was an affectionate and nurturing person, feeding and looking after all friends and family,” she said.

Bob Dunn, president and CEO of Synergos, read a poem in honor of Martha. Two minutes of silence was observed.

Dr Rajesh Tandon, Martha's husband and President, PRIA, was present on the occasion. He has been associated with Synergos since 1986, and currently serves on its board.
