Training Programme on Organisational Management

Ahead Initiatives is a non-profit company working in villages in 6 districts of Bengal and one each in Odisha and Jharkhand, in the areas of Food & Nutrition Security, Primary Education and Local Livelihoods. It was formed in 2009 and employs 21 staff, besides field staff to carry out the initiatives. 

AHEAD Initiatives invited PRIA India to conduct a training programme on Organisational Management for its staff in Mandarmani, West Bengal from 4-6 October 2023. 

The training objectives were: 

• Building a shared understanding of the identity and strategies of the organisation 
• Exploring self for developing leadership capacities in the organisation 
• Understanding the significance of teams and team building in the organisation 

Dr. Kaustuv Kanti Bandyopadhyay and Ms. Harshita Umrao were the facilitators of this training programme.
