Training of Trainers on Participatory Training Methodology

PRIA organized 5-day residential 'Training of Trainers on Participatory Training Methodology' workshop in partnership with Swayam where 21 participants from 5 organizations - Azad Foundation, Badlao Foundation, Child In Need Initiative (CINI), Swayam, Udayani Social Action Forum, Youth Unity for Voluntary Action - who are currently involved as trainers or willing to facilitate training in future were engaged in mutual learning and sharing process. A number of adult learning methods such as small group discussions, case studies, role-plays, simulations, structured games, video reviews, etc. were used to imbibe in participants the essence of the adult learning process, different participatory methodologies, the importance of self, communication, conflict management, among others. The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Ashok K. Singh of Sahbhagi Shikshan Kendra along with Ms. Shilpi from SAKAR & Ms. Kumari Shradha from PRIA.
