Students in Jhansi Tell Us What Democracy In Everyday Life Means to Them

After the success of Youthra 2018 in the national capital region, the YnD campaign reaches Jhansii. In collaboration with Margshree Charitable Trust, and NSS, PRIA will organise a street theatre competition in Jhansi on the 8th of February 2018. Through these activities, PRIA seeks to further the conversation on Democracy in Everyday Life among the students at the city level.

Over the last 3 months activities such as poster making, elocution, slogan writing, and a signature campaign have been conducted in different colleges in Jhansi to facilitate discussions on Democracy in Everyday Life. Given the eagerness with which the campaign has been received at the city, it was decided to conduct a city level event to bring together students from different colleges and create a space which allows to deepen the discussion on Democracy in Everyday Life through competitive cultural events.

The events are scheduled to be hosted at Bundelkhand University. 

Active student participation will bring alive and sustain conversations on Democracy in Everyday Life.
