Former Uber CEO Travis Kalanick  was nudged out of one of the world’s most highly valuable private companies by investors frustrated over its troubled culture.

An independent probe by a committee headed by a retired Justice indicted ICICI Bank's ex-CEO Chanda Kochhar over violation of the company code of conduct.

In November 2018, 20,000 Google employees and contractors around the world walked off the job to protest the company’s response to sexual harassment claims. Employees have also complained about sexism, racism, and a general lack of transparency within the company.

Being a ethical leader in today’s world is increasingly a challenge, as the examples above show. How can leaders of organisations – both large and small, for profit and non-profit – demonstrate ethical leadership? What are the internal and external challenges? What skills must leaders demonstrate to steer their organizations with a commitment to ethical behaviours, across the organization?
