"It take more than a village to raise a child. And it hurts more than a village when women are not treated equally and are subjected to violence", said Dr Rekha Dutta, Fulbright Scholar, when presenting data on the status of women and girls in Haryana and the initial findings of her study research, based largely on PRIA's work in the field.
