Over 600 participants, most of whom were youth, participated in the #PledgeforParity programme organised by PRIA-Raipur at Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University.
The programme was attended by vice chancellor of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, chairpersons and members of State Women Commission, State Commission for Protection of Child Rights and State Planning Commission. Mr. Satinder Singh Sahni, PRIA Governing Board Member, also participated in the event.
Various groups of students performed plays and cultural items. Students also participated in the discussions and shared their opinion on the need for a Chhattisgarh State Youth Policy that promotes gender parity in society.
