To bridge this gap, a Photography Workshop was conducted in PRIA on 18th May 2018. The workshop was led by Sonu Kumar and supported by Aparna Seth. It was an hour long workshop attended by six people. The primary objective of the workshop was how to go beyond the auto settings, how to take good photos indoors and maintenance of camera equipment.

The workshop was started by Sonu explaining the basics of a camera. The various shooting modes in a camera were explained and how to go beyond clicking photos just in auto mode. Aparna got to explaining everyone about the essentials required to keep in mind to take better photos. Things like shutter speed, aperture, ISO, exposure and white balance was explained. Photography technically meaning writing with light, everyone was made to understand the importance of good light while clicking a photo. Information about the various types of lenses and their uses was also explained to the participants.

Sonu also explained how to record videos, how to attach the camera on a tripod and how to download the photos on your device post clicking.
