The Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Bhopal (AIGGPA) organized a two-day programme on “Partnership for Development and Sharing of Experiences: Conclave with CSOs” for sharing of experiences and evolving partnerships among Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), Agencies and Institutions of national and state-level importance, for promoting SDGs and Agenda 2030. This programme was held on the 8th and 9th of April 2022 at the Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal. Shri Mangubhai C Patel, Governor, Madhya Pradesh inaugurated the event and Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh was invited to speak at the valedictory session. Several leaders of CSOs and NGOs across India participated in the programme. 

The conclave aimed to facilitate a series of initiatives where concerned State agencies and CSOs may collectively explore complementarities for better and effective management of the last-mile delivery for inclusive development. The conclave particularly focussed on themes viz. health and nutrition; education, skills, and livelihood; financial inclusion and banking given the immense CSO contributions in these sectors as well focus on CSO and government convergence. 

Dr Rajesh Tandon was invited to speak at the valedictory session (with the Hon'ble Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh). Dr. Tandon emphasized the need for regular communication and collaboration between government and civil society organizations as a path to an inclusive enabling government and catalyse state social development.
