Housing Rights for the Urban Poor: State Level Convention

PRIA and its partner agencies supported a state level convention, organised by Action Aid and NIDAN, to press demands for housing rights for the urban poor. The convention served as a platform for rationalising the various demands for housing rights for the urban poor. To emphasize the need for such rights, PRIA's study on “Economic Contribution of the Urban Poor to the City's Economy” was also shared with the minister of state, local MLAs and other elected representatives.
