Dr Rajesh Tandon made a presentation on the work of PRIA to faculty at Royal Roads University (RRU) Victoria Canada on June 13, 2016. He focused on PRIA’s model of experiential learning and participatory research as vehicles for empowerment of the excluded. This model is similar to the one used by RRU in its pedagogy, of blended learning for professional development.

Earlier that morning, Dr. Tandon spoke with the top leadership of the university about the changing nature of post-secondary education in India.

The founder trustees of Martha Farrell Foundation (MFF) visited Royal Roads University Victoria, Canada on Sunday June 12 to meet with the first batch of students of Masters in Global Leadership. Late Dr Martha Farrell had designed this course along with other faculty of the University and was planning to teach the same. Dr Rajesh Tandon made a presentation of the work of MFF to faculty and students of RRU.

RRU has also launched a scholarship for an international student attending the next batch of this Masters programme in the name of Martha Farrell.

While commenting on this experience, one of the students of this programme remarked, "We feel the spirit and passion of Martha in our class, and are indeed grateful for learning from her vast expertise, even in her absence. It has been a gift to us, and we are eternally grateful for the same."
