In collaboration with the UNESCO Chair in Community-based Research and Social Responsibility in Higher Education, PRIA, and CYSD, Berhampur University hosted a 6-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) from 9th of October to the 14th of October 2023. Faculty members from Berhampur University took part in this event.

The Programme was facilitated by a team of Participatory Trainers led by Mr. Binoy Acharya, UNNATI (Ahmedabad), Mr. Jagadananda, CYSD (Odisha), Dr. Anshuman Karol, and Dr. Pragya Chaube, PRIA (New Delhi). The purpose of the training was:

  • To understand the framework of “Fostering Social Responsibility & Community Engagement in Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs)”.
  • To understand the principles & methodology of CBPR.
  • To strengthen competencies in the use of various methods of CBPR through field practice.
