ISDM's annual event, Dialogues on Development Management (DoDM), is a key component to establish a comprehensive ecosystem for Development Management. The event aimed to provide a space where stakeholders from diverse backgrounds can come together to discuss, debate, and ideate on the concept of Development Management. Through exciting and thought-provoking deliberations and dialogues within the social sector ecosystem, it seeks to develop a common vocabulary and foster a shared understanding.

DoDM features multiple, parallel themes, that changes each year based on the evolving context. Each theme comprises high-quality content and engaging sessions, curated by ISDM and partner organisations. The themes for DoDM '23 were:

Finance and Philanthropy for Organisational Resilience: Unleashing sustainable social impact with innovative finance models and new-age philanthropy
Talent, Leadership & Governance for the Social Sector: Exploring governance, succession readiness, leveraging untapped talent pools, and scaling with people at the core
Data & Evidence for Decision Making: Delving into the power of data insights, diversity of careers in the field, the importance of accessible data and data for systems change
Masterclass on Development Management: 90-minute sessions on topics such as Strategy for Non-Profits, Systems Thinking, Design Thinking, Behavior Change Communication
