s. Ruqaiya had completed her internship (while studying Masters in Sustainable Development Practice/ TERI University, New Delhi) in PRIA during January to April 2018 under the 'Dr. Anshuman Karol'. As part of her internship, she visited ECRC project site Muzaffarpur and carried out a detailed research study.
It has stated that the indicators defined were Sewerage and Toilet Situation, Drainage System, Water Supply and Citizen Engagement for completing the study. The samples covered here were from Slums, Smart City and Non-smart city wards of Muzaffarpur.
The study revealed very interesting facts about differences and demystified out concepts of progress achieved by smart city ward and non-smart city ward alongwith Slums in the city. Interesting, the study revealed that in some areas, the slum wards have outplaced other areas considering the amenities they gained than other parts of the sample areas.
