Celebration on “World Menstrual Hygiene Day” – That time of the month….

This programme was organised as part of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, May 28.

The session was attended by 35 participants (16 female and 19 male) including PRIA staff at HO, Interns and cleaning staff of the organisation.

After a small video on a boy’s anxiety on the issue of Menstruation, Pads and other issues were shown in the beginning.  There was also a quiz conducted on the subject "Menstruation”. This was conducted through power points, verbal questions and videos.

Staff was divided into four equal teams and everyone participated enthusiastically. This gave a lot of unknown information and dymystified concepts of Menstruation to the participants. A very informative discussion on other topics related to menstruation was also taken place.

Programme ended by 11.30 a.m.
