CAPSTONE Workshop

PRIA has been implementing the Capacities for Social Transformation and Empowerment –CAPSTONE  initiative to provide institutional development support to smaller and younger organisations through offline (face-to-face) and online trainings, workshops, coaching and mentoring over the next one year.

Under this programme, an orientation workshop was organised with the first cohort on 4^th to 6^th April 2022. The objectives of the workshop were to orient the participants about CAPSTONE programme and to engage in a participatory organisational capacity assessment.:

1. Orientation on Capacities for Social Transformation and Empowerment (CAPSTONE) programme
2. Assessing organisational capacities and learning needs using Participatory Organisational Capacity Assessment (POCA) tools
3. Prioritising learning needs and preparing a gender-integrated institutional development roadmap

The workshop saw the participation of 21 organisations from 9 states across the country. This participatory organisational capacity self-assessment tool helped organisations to identify the learning priorities based on which the future institutional development support will be offered by PRIA.
