CAPSTONE Workshop on Financial Management

The workshop on 'Financial Management System in NPOs' was the third capacity development support offered to the Northeast cohort members following the POCA workshop (face-to-face) & Strategic Planning (online) under the CAPSTONE programme. This workshop was focused on making organizations understand the importance and impact of having a well-managed and a robust financial management system in the organization. Participants in the workshop were responsible for managing the accounts and finances of the organizations. Out of twenty-five organizations from different states - Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, and Manipur – twenty-three participated in the workshop. Through this workshop, participants were able to develop skills for creating an accountable Financial Management System in NPOs as well as developed an understanding on Legal Compliance about Financial Management in NPOs. The workshop was facilitated by Puran Jha & Sujata Samal, CPA Services and Kumari Shradha, PRIA.
