The event starts at 2;00 p.m. with a panel discussion on ‘Youth Identity in Education’. We are seeing this Panel discussion as an opportunity to talk about the issues of Youth Identity in India. Since the official theme for International Youth Day this year is Transforming Education, we would like to use that as an opportunity to inter-weave the discussions on Identity. This event is being organised as part of PRIA's Youth n' Democracy campaign.

The Panel constitutes of 2 experts, 2 students, and one moderator. The Panel has onboard Mr. Juan Pablo Ramirez-Miranda who is currently the Head of Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO New Delhi Cluster Office. The other Panelist is Dr. Parul Bansal who is head and Assistant Professor of Psychology at Lady Sri Ram(LSR) College, Delhi University. Dr. Parul has written extensively on Youth Identity in contemporary India. In addition, the panel also has two recent graduates in Aman Singh (Jamia Milia Islamia) and Priya Sharna (LSR).

The Panel Discussion will be followed by free verse poetry recital. The theme for the poetry session is ‘Young, Wild and Free’.

The poems/verses is a free expression of being young and should (suggestively) exhibit:
