Puberty is the transition of an individual from childhood to adulthood. Aside from the physical changes, the emotional changes are the most difficult. Therefore training workshops on 'PROCESS OF GROWING UP' was conducted with the students to support them during their puberty. Teens discuss a great deal of information and unfortunately spread a lot of misinformation to each other. These sessions were designed for them to ask questions of which they are unsure of, and will act as a resource for information on topics such as puberty, psychological changes, behavioral changes, and also positive acceptance of self.

The sessions were conducted in 3 Government schools of Delhi, 217 students including 123 girls and 94 boys participated in the sessions. During the discussion on physical and psychological changes, students were initially feeling shy to talk about menstruation and body parts like breasts, vagina and penis. But as the session proceeded, they looked comfortable and were also clarifying their doubts.

The discussion on attraction towards the opposite gender went really well. It was very surprising when students said that attraction is beyond gender and can happen with anyone. It can happen with same sex or opposite sex.
