Key areas/components

Participants trained in various provisions of 73rd Constitutional Amendment Act and Haryana Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, rural development programmes, decentralized planning and social development. The entire training was conducted in participatory mode to engage and retain the interest of the participants. Several role-plays and games were incorporated to make the training interactive. Additional resource persons from partner organizations were involved in the trainings. Officials from line departments were also engaged as guest speakers in giving information on some government schemes. Block level officials also took sessions. It was ensured that the administrative head of the block/district inaugurated the training programme in order to ensure support of the block level administration.
