We serve people from all walks of life including students and representatives from civil society organizations, academia, government and media.

The Library uses Libsys software package, which is an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in-house operations of the Library. Libsys consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, article indexing and OPAC (On line Public Access Catalogue). Users can search for books of their interest through OPAC. The database of books available in the Library is updated on a day-to-day basis with details of recently acquired books. 

Library Membership
• Membership is open for people from outside PRIA.
• Membership ensures access to use the library and documentation centre.
• Outside members cannot borrow library materials. They can only refer to them within the library premises.
• Duplication (reprographic services) of materials is available on demand, at a charge of Rs.1.00 per page.
• Photocopying of full documents is not permissible.
• Computerized print out of thematic list/bibliography can be obtained from the computerized document database of the library, against a charge of Rs. 3.00 per page.

Visitors are requested to bring an identity/visiting card or a formal letter indicating your occupation to avail the reduced rates.
