PRIA Youth, in collaboration with Pro Sport Development, began its Beyond Running and Chasing initiative with the youth cohort of Manzil NGO. Manzil is a non-profit, youth-led learning center providing a supportive community and resources for students to empower themselves and one another through learning, teaching, and encouraging each other to see the world in new ways.

The Beyond Running and Chasing initiative focuses on improving the ability of young people between the ages of 14-18 years to use digital technologies for meaningful actions in everyday life situations, including practical knowledge to access basic public services online (employment, education, and banking), how to deal with cyber-bullying, recognizing cyber theft, as well as issues of privacy, consent, illegal and prohibited content.

The workshop was a stimulating experience for both the participants and the facilitators. Themes such as digital footprinting, cyber safety, cyberbullying as well as some functional skills, were discussed during the session.

Beyond Running and Chasing intervention is partly supported by the Laureus Innovation Fund.
