Health Department, Gurugram and Participatory Research in Asia (PRIA), together with Gurugram University, Martha Farrell Foundation (MFF) and Centre for Sustainable, Healthy and Learning Cities (SHLC), University of Glasgow organized a multi-stakeholder city consultation on strengthening facility-based intervention to target adolescent health on August 18, 2021 at the Office of Civil Surgeon, Gurugram.

Integral to the process of participatory research is the process of data sharing and data validation. The data that is collected from the community is discussed with them by cutting the jargon and making it more comprehensible and easier to understand.
On 8th March, 2021, PRIA, SHLC and Gurugram University(GU) organized an event to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event was held at Harijan Basti, Sector 43, Gurugram, which is also one of the locations where the team works with adolescents on health issues.
PRIA International Academy (PIA) had signed an MoU with Gurugram University, Gurugram for establishing research and academic partnership and for strengthening institutional co-operation.
The data enumerators, divided into teams of five, would collect data on adolescent health over a duration of three weeks, from February 1 to February 19,2021. The teams would conduct the survey in five informal settlements in Gurugram.
A Participatory Action Research (PAR) methodology training workshop was organized for the community and student animators, as part of ‘Our Health, Our Voice; Participatory research with adolescents in Gurugram’ research initiative.
