This project created awareness about different development schemes and provisions and acquainted councillors with the Municipal Act of the state under which they have to operate.
Objectives:

Conduction of training for the 'male' councilors of all Nagar Palikas and Nagar Panchayats covering around 100 ULBs of the state

Enhanced capacities of Elected Representatives through awareness building and training to create a cadre of effective and responsible leaders at the local level

Increased responsiveness towards good governance by giving information to the new leaders about their roles, responsibilities and Acts to empower the ERs implement their duties effectively
