To critically assess the relevance of RDAS as an organization in the field of development.

Geographical Spread:
Secunderabad, three regions of Andhra Pradesh where RDAS works – Rayalaseema, Telegana and Coastal Andhra.
Key areas/components:

Literature review of all the documents available.

Study of all the programs of RDAS.

Study of the organizational context of RDAS as well as the profile of each staff member of the organization.

Field visits were made and questionnaires were gotten filled to elicit information on the operations of RDAS and their effectiveness.

The data collected was analyzed.

Key findings include identification of issues and proposed suggestions for four broad themes:

Activities & programs of RDAS such as Training program, Cultural forum, Flanking measures, Women’s program, Drought program etc.

Organizational structure of RDAS: Organizational philosophy, environment, communication flow, decentralization and finance.

Relationship with CROSS.

Future Issues: Areas to look at for future direction.
