This project designed a livelihood planning intervention and pilot tested it to encourage partner organizations to undertake livelihoods planning through gram panchayats across the country.

To encourage gram Panchayats themselves to be pro-active in the area of economic planning for the area, with special emphasis on livelihoods of women
Geographical Spread:
Gollapalli Gram Panchayat in Jagadevpur Mandal of Medak district of Andhra Pradesh was chosen for the intervention

The data collection method included Interviews, informal meetings, observations, group discussions

Special exercises were designed to help specific groups think through issues on livelihoods from their own perspective

Discussions on issues of economic planning.
