PRIA was a part of consortium involved in a capacity building endeavour and took the lead in capacity building in the area of financial management and accounting.

Sharing of preliminary findings of the needs assessment among concerned stakeholders and officials at a state level consultation workshop.

Preparing a three-day training module. The module included training design with expected learning objectives, contents and appropriate training methods.

Based on expert feedback and the training module, a trainer’s manual/handbook/guide was prepared incorporating the basic content of the material, facilitator’s note/relevant reading material for each session. The manual was participatory in nature and efforts were made to keep it simple and suitable for the participant’s profile.

A validation workshop was organized by SIRD where PRIA presented the training module, manuals and materials.

Two-day training of state level trainers conducted on the concepts, to build training and facilitation skills.
