This project oriented elected representatives on local self government and municipal governance, the various provisions of Chhattisgarh Municipal Act, 1961 and the City Development Strategy of Chhattisgarh.

To orient the ERs on the City Development Strategy of Chhattisgarh
Geographical Spread:
The 100 Urban Local Bodies (2005-2006) with 1756 elected representatives (including chairpersons of ULBs), which would be taken up within the scope of the project initiative: PRIA would focus on Small & Medium towns (Nagar Palikas and Nagar Panchayats) in The State of Chhattisgarh
