UNESCO Chairs Seminar: Science, Technology and Innovation and Digital Cooperation

Dr. Rajesh Tandon attended the UNESCO Chairs Seminar on Science, Technology, and Innovation and Digital Cooperation, organised by UNESCO yesterday, on 5th June 2024. The seminar delved into critical themes from Chapter 3 of the draft Pact for the Future, such as capacity development, the right to science, gender equality, traditional and local knowledge, and international cooperation. Special emphasis was placed on the UNESCO Recommendation on Open Science, a global framework designed to bridge technological and knowledge gaps both between and within countries.
