A team of three senior staff from Durban University of Technology (DUT) will be visiting Delhi to building on local knowledge, using approaches and strategies that encourage participation of university staff, students, and community members to establish frameworks that contribute to context specific sustainable development through community engagement. PRIA will facilitate their visit to different universities in India, sharing experiences on how community engagement is conceptualised and implemented within community-university partnerships. This mutually beneficial exchange of knowledge will develop further understanding and knowledge on community based research.
