PRIA International Academy of Lifelong Learning PRIA International Academy of Lifelong Learning (PIALL) (earlier PRIA Continuing Education) is the academic wing within the organisation conducting educational programmes of human and social development. PIALL collates, synthesises, builds upon, repackages and disseminates PRIA’s vast body of knowledge and learning. This existing knowledge is in the form of research studies, field based programmes, training modules, workshop and seminar reports, papers, publications, audio-visuals, etc, on a wide range of development issues. The primary clientele for PIALL courses is from the development sector—mid-career professionals; practitioners with strong field experience and informal learning; adult learners who want to develop an academic base to complement practical experience; young professionals wanting upward mobility within an organisation. PIALL continues to rely on the distance mode of learning for its short-term certificate courses but follows the mixed mode of learning for its diplomas and degree programmes.
