Completion Assessment of CAC (Citizen's Against Corruption) Projects in South Asia

Citizens Against Corruption (CAC) is a grant management programme implemented by Public Affairs Center (PAC). It is supported by Partnership for Transparency Fund (PTF), Washington D.C., which aims to fund initiatives by CSOs in South Asia that stimulate, capacitate and facilitate citizens to fight against corruption. On request of PTF, the Project Completion Assessment (ICA) is being undertaken by PRIA to assess the project performance and results subsequent to the closure of the projects. The independent assessment would be done in a phased manner, where the first phase would cover four projects in Karnataka and one in Kerela, whereas in phase two, seven projects in Orissa would be assessed.

The objectives of the Project Completion Assessment (ICA) are to assess:

  • The degree to which the project achieved, or seems likely to achieve, all or most of its objectives;
  • The implementation performance and contributions of the activities and outputs to the planned results;
  • Results achieved and disseminated;
  • Institutional development contributions.

The major outputs of the project are:

  • Five Independent Project Completion Assessment reports
  • One synthesis report for all projects

The project is funded by PTF (Partnership for Transparency Fund) which sources its support from (Department For International Development, UK) DFID’s Governance and Transparency Fund (GTF).
